What led you to move towards an S3 object storage model rather than more traditional approaches?

In our sector, we manage a growing volume of critical data every day. Traditional systems were becoming too limited and increasingly costly to maintain and scale. With Oxigen DC, we have access to a more cost-efficient and predictable infrastructure model, allowing us to pay only for what we need without compromising data integrity. For Condis, this is more than a technical step forward; it is a way to ensure that our infrastructure is as efficient as our stores.

What benefits does this architecture provide today?

It gives us the confidence that our infrastructure is ready to support business growth. At Condis, we can open new points of sale or launch campaigns that generate major data peaks, knowing that our S3 backup architecture with Oxigen DC will scale automatically and transparently. We no longer need to worry about emergency hardware purchases or complex migrations.

In a critical scenario, what does being able to recover your data mean for you?

Having our backups in an external S3 repository managed by a trusted partner such as Oxigen DC gives us confidence that recovery will not only be fast, but fully reliable. This resilience is an integral part of our security management: knowing that, whatever happens, we have direct and personal access to the experts responsible for safeguarding our data gives us greater peace of mind, with the continuity of data across our stores and platforms in trusted hands.

What impact has this change had on your operational efficiency and internal data management?

The impact has been positive both from a budget perspective and in the team's day-to-day work. By transferring the complexity of physical storage to a managed S3 model, we have reduced operating and maintenance costs. This has enabled us to free up internal talent to focus on other projects instead of managing disks or tapes.
