Continuous cooling & free cooling
A proven combination of techniques to ensure, to the greatest extent possible, that our data center is efficient and sustainable.

What do we mean by continuous cooling in a critical environment such as a data center? It refers to the practice of maintaining a constant and stable temperature through the use of cooling systems that operate continuously rather than turning on and off as needed.
✅ In other words, instead of cooling the data center room in intermittent cycles, continuous cooling uses energy-efficient cooling systems to maintain a constant and stable temperature.
This practice is directly proportional to the benefits we can achieve, such as extending the useful life of equipment, which leads to lower maintenance costs; this, in turn, improves the facility’s energy efficiency, and therefore we can conclude that it reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
Combined with FREE COOLING—that is, taking advantage of the temperature difference between the interior of the data center and the north side of the building—this ensures maximum energy efficiency since we do not have to cool the outside air.
All of these claims can be verified through a thorough, long-term study of the performance of the various systems and with a considerable IT space utilization rate—greater than 80%. But in the meantime, can we derive any other benefits from “continuous cooling and free cooling” that we can make available to our customers right from the start?
In our IT room, we have four water-cooling loops, each with a capacity of 1,000 kW. With a water volume of approximately 80 m³ and operating within a temperature differential of 15–20, we can confirm that, in the event of a power failure, a failure in the generator systems, or a failure in the chiller start-up systems, our “continuous cooling” system is designed to withstand a controlled temperature increase of 10 °C over 15 minutes.
